There are many options to upgrade/update the mechanical elements of ATE and similar test equipment. This work will often be undertaken as part of or in additions to control, electrical and software enhancements. This can include complete strip down and refurbish as necessary and re-assembly and re-commissioning.

Examples of upgrades undertaken:

• Force measurement balances -replacement of flexures and links as necessary, weigh-beam refurbishment or loadcell replacement.
• Positioning systems - new motion systems (Yaw, Incidence, etc) including bearings, motors and drives –
• Wind tunnel upgrades - fans, circuit elements and test sections.
• General test rigs – increases and changes in load capacity, requiring upgraded actuators, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
